Default The Line Manager

FOUR HUNDRED FEET of kite flight line to manage, no problem ...

uh, well maybe.

Not to worry, help is here with the Line Manager!

The Line Manager is a small, light, portable aid that can trim frustrating minutes off setup time
when you just want to hit the water and fly.

Better still, in tight confines such as at crowded launches and off of boats, the Line Manager can really make
a difference in rapid setup less major complications with annoying line tangles.

The design is simplicity itself.

Say you have just landed for the day. You well anchored your kite with sand and have detached to lines
from one side of the kite. Next you mount the Line Manager near the center of your bar to wrap up
your flight lines.

Gather the lines into a "vee" shape and wind the kite lines in a tidy "figure 8" over the ends of
the bar and Line Manager.

A video that depicts the process appears HERE

Wrap up the line until you have about 3 ft. remaining.

Make sure the kite trailing edge lines are on the outside and the leading edge lines are on the inside as
you pull the lines into the groves on the white plastic "nose" of the Line Manager. Avoid line crossover,
this step is an important one.

Finishing wrapping up the lines in a "figure 8" over the bar and Line Manager and you're done.
You have also preloaded your next session with a faster less tangle prone setup.

Ship shape and good to go!

Ready to setup for the next session? Simply unwrap sufficient line to be able to attach your lines to your well
anchored kite (Kook Proof Connectors are a great idea), pull the lines out of the grooves in the "nose" and
unwrap the rest of your lines. Be sure to preflight your lines, kite, etc. before launching.
