Default kite sizes for summer

Hey,
quick question: I live here in miami, florida. The wind here gets about 5-10 mph the most. I weigh approx. 145 lbs. and I was wondering which kite I should get.(anywhere from a 16-21 meter).?
Thanks,
Danny

Default kite size for MIami

Danny,
I would recommend that you don't purchase a kite larger that 16sq.mts. This is more than enough for you weight.
If you need to make things happen in light winds, consider changing board models. For example( skim board, directional board, or larger twin tip, surf board even.....

if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reply to my post.

Kind Regards, ,

Miguel

Default

miguel,
I have a 13 meter yarga (2005) and will be buying a 17 meter element (2005). Question: is it better to have a bow kite that will cover 10-22-knts, and what size should it be for a 150lbs guy?
Is it worth the investment, or just keep the other quiver?
thanx,
Danny
