And a nice one it is.
The beach just west of Delaporte. No doubt there is name for it. By the kooky new castle/house.

I don't know how many times I've driven by it and though it looked good. Ok today was a bit windy and the wind went E, but in NE its got waves and flat water inside. Juts launch the kite out to sea ( the water is pretty shallow for the launcher and mid to low tide).

I'm going to sail there more.

nice waves but crazy wild horse ride for kiters the first 100yards or so, gusty as hell. I am only ridding there again if NE to NW, ENE-E too tricky

Agreed- when we first got there we were planing off the beach. The wind was backing to the East the whole day. I reckon NE ought to be fine.

You guys did well though.

I like the spot too but it HAS to be N, NNE or worse case NE. Anything more than NE is crap.
If it wasn`t for Roger I would have lost my board (tks a lot R.). Hope that Joffa (hope this is how you write it) has found his custom board.

Why do they still make white and/or blue boards ?? Should we wear a leash in waves ?? Yesterday I was way too overpowered on Dave`s 10, when I lost the board I could bodydrag back upwind :(

I wish I had a 8m.

looks ok a bit close to the road woth some gnarley rocks east of the beach.
only good for advanced riders.
I saw a air rush kite getting repaird at philips so it musent be that good a spot.

That was my fault !! I messed Dave's kite but not too badly though. The thing is when I took the kite to Philips' they got me away with the usual "That ain't bad, you should be straight with half an hour job !!". Today I get a phone call saying that the kite is ready and it's 155 usd !!! I complaint to the point where the lady told me "OK then, bring 85.-- usd !!". Is it just my impression or just because I'm not a local they always try to swing me in one way or the other ??? Mocean, next time I'll let you deal with them !!!

Not a spot for beginners I'd agree, but the rocks are upwind with multiple beaches downwind.

Proximity to the road demands additional caution and launching kite out to sea etc.

Still, it may not be for some.
