I would get in touch with Roy Massey with http://aceperformer.com/ . He is the FKA area coordinator over that way and can give you the low down on things there.

Hopefully, the cold fronts will be moving through by then bringing you part of a day to several days of stronger westerly winds. More about historical winds in November can be found at:

You could checkout past years as last year looks to be pretty light. Hope you get some good wind!

Thanks RickI, Roy just e-mail me and confirmed what you said. It all depends if a cold front is passing by. He also mentioned the Sainbel light house beach to be the spot.

Thanks again,

Kiterfreak

Roy is a good guy and has been windsurfing/kiteboarding in the area for a long time. There are lots of available areas along the Gulf. It would be best to avoid congested tourist areas still there are a lot of potential launches on the outside and to a lessor degree on the inside.

Some of the sheltered and open water riding areas. There are also quite a few sand bars on the inside. The launches on the inside can be a bit tricky for reasons that Roy can explain.

This a view from the southwest of the lighthouse. That is the mainland in the distance behind the lighthouse to the east.
