"Red Bull Butter Cup 2011: Waterfront Commons

Red Bull Butter Cup is a contest for riders of all levels held at Waterfront Commons in West Palm Beach, Florida.

We're bringing snow to Florida. This snowboarding event showcases creativity in technical flatland trickery and it's all about going back to the basics of what made us all fall in love with shredding in the first place: FUN!

Butter up and cut loose on the custom Red Bull butter pads. Be sure to bring your best bag of tricks.

* Style and creativity is the name of the game and the competition is hot so the cream will rise to the top.
* The jam session format keeps the action flowing while riders battle in Pro and Am divisions for cash and fresh gear.
* Only trick sequences that include buttering will count so step it up, hit the snow and bring your "A" game.

Sponsors include: Oakley, Forum, Neff and Nike 6.0.
Date and Time:

* 3:30-4:30pm: On-site registration & open practice

There is little (NO) information readily found out there about how they plan to do this. Should be interesting.

Broke my arm two years ago today snowboarding in Utah. Can't imagine doing it on hard ground. I'm sticking to liquid H2O.

Hope it knit and healed well. I've had some notable injuries in the mountains too. I imagine they aren't that uncommon. Deep powder sounds good to me, wonder what they will be serving up in West Palm Beach later on today? Doubt it will be four feet of champaign powder, ice on a tray? We should know in a several hours.
