Default Wave Riding Great Lakes Style

Well at least shore break. We been having successive fronts roll through here and many kiteable days. The water even is warm enough that you don't have to wear gloves. Enjoy...

Congratulations on the wind and thanks for posting the video. Have fun up there and here's to being able to shred with no cold weather gloves! What are the larger wave sizes you see at your launch area? Looked pretty good the day of the video.

The person in the video is a friend named Cram. He's been kiting for 1 year!

The waves we were getting that day in close to shore were maybe 3 fters. Out past the pier there were some overhead waves. Trouble is they are all wind driven - very short period no real swell. Still lots of fun for kickers and riding in.

Kite was a 7m Chameleon. Winds were close to 30 mph with gusts about 35. Winds were less before this - out on 9m but then came up. They went down again and we got back out on our 9m kites. Just an awesome day. We are having a good spring here with 2-3 rideable days / week the last month.
