Meso wind or was that meso soup?
 NWS has some new experimental graphics up. Come on light blue and green? http://www.srh.noaa.gov/mfl/analysis/?type=analysis It will be interesting to compare this model with realtime winds.

it would be great if folks in various parts of the state would compare this to actual winds and let us know. the couple of times I checked it wasn't far off.
