Lido beach or Siesta Key work on S/SW, they are alot closer to me. But the currents usually bad.
I hope we get some waves

Default Siesta Key Sharks - Anyone Else Seen?

hey all - trent has seen two sharks at siesta in the last few months - last one was a whopping 14' and before that a 9 footer

both have been between beach access 5 and 8 and only 20-40 yards from shore (I think they follow the deep, dredged channel that parallels the beach and heads to the pass

anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else has spotted them (not much freaks me out but those suckers do) - all I have ever seen are 4 footers

???

Yooooo JOE!

Thats fascinating, ive never seen any sharks at PB Siesta, and i grew up there. I hope they are only using the channel as a pass thru....or could it be their food supply is scarce? YIKES
