It really kicked in about 12:30 when I left EB to go to the beach. As I was leaving some guys were getting worked and/or landing to rig smaller kites. I went out to St. Pete Beach and ended up riding a 9m fully juiced. Sand was blowing everywhere (solid 20 to 25). Nice waves for ramps. Tons of beach goers. I was kinda surprised they were there, because while on the beach, IMO, the sandblasting was not much fun. But, people were in the lounge chairs, taking on the storm.

Nice day out there on the water, for sure.
Toby, did your smaller kite end up working out? or was it too windy?
Bob, what about your 15m Diesel?

Started with a 20m at 10am.. 15m by noon.. 13m by 1:30 or 2.. should have rigged the 11m for 3pm + but I just called it a day. 6 hours and I'm spent.

great day!

I ended up putting my 11M GTO that I just bought from Kevin White (KiteboadingCentral). I really just prefer bigger kites though. Maybe it was too windy but I don't think so because there were people riding 16M kites during the afternoon and doing just fine...

Toby, you get my email? Any problems, just let me know.

Glad to see you out there on Friday.

Enough wind to learn raleys at first... but then trying to kiteloop there wasn't nearly enough wind to land one properly or to eat shit... Which wasn't that bad since I didn't want to eat shit...

You have to PM me on the weekends or e-mail to tobywilson@hotmail.com because you are using my work e-mail address. I'll get it in the morning...Like the kite, I'm just saying that I need to be comfortable riding my Machine before worrying with small kites...
