Default Wind Tonight!

Did anyone get some water time tonight? I got out late, after 6:30 pm. Still it was nice, 16 to 20 kts. sideshore! A storm cell moved over about 45 minutes before I hit the beach and dumped a load of rain. Radar looked clear pretty much after that. Eventually that changed howver.

A shelf cloud managed to sneak to the coast from inland under a bunch of external cloud cover. It started around George Bush Blvd. in Delray and went north a few miles. Once it came near the coast it became pretty obvious. No extreme winds with this one but there could have been. The wind vanished shortly after it went out to sea. Nice unexpected session!

Thanks guys. It was good to get out and after I had given up much hope for a session a week or two out. Wind in the coming week sounds good.

Watch out for those storms, the squall season (one of many) is on!

Have fun

I think you're spot on, it is 13 gusting to 15 kts. in Delray already. I was surprised it didn't come up yesterday but today will do. Go out and grab some!

Wasn't what I had hoped for, But it's summer time. Any wind is good wind

Hit the beach @ 5:15 and rigged the 17 Waroo, 1st session I took out a 6' Surftech. Winds picked up just enough and switched out for my 127 Float and finished up what turned out to be a FUN session. The wind was still good when I left

Kited 5:30-7

7:00 pm ENE 11 13kts
6:00 pm ENE 11 13
5:00 pm E 11 13
