Default Cold Front Road Trip???

It is still pretty far off but NWS has this to say about conditions for this weekend for COCOA BEACH TO JUPITER INLET:

SATURDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET. A
MODERATE CHOP ON THE INTRACOASTAL WATERS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

SATURDAY NIGHT
NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO
6 FEET. CHOPPY ON THE INTRACOASTAL WATERS. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

SUNDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS. SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET. ROUGH
ON THE INTRACOASTAL WATERS. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

SUNDAY NIGHT
NORTHEAST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS BECOMING EAST
15 TO 20 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS 8 TO 11 FEET. ROUGH ON THE
INTRACOASTAL WATERS. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

20 to 25 kts. at Ft. Pierce Inlet? Sounds mighty fine.

The forecast will bear looking at, fingers crossed. Us folks in the south have yet to work good frontal winds this season. Maybe this weekend?

LESS NEAR SHORE AND UP TO 5 TO 7 FEET IN THE GULF STREAM.
INTRACOASTAL WATERS CHOPPY IN EXPOSED AREAS. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

SUNDAY
NORTHEAST WINDS INCREASING TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS. NEAR
SHORE...SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET BUILDING TO 8 TO 10 FEET IN THE
AFTERNOON. IN THE GULF STREAM...SEAS 7 TO 9 FEET BUILDING TO 8 TO
10 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON. NORTH SWELL 2 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON.

The wind looks like it is going to be blowing from the east this weekend. Is there a place to go around Cocoa if it is an east wind?
