World Fashion Channel? Somebody got out of bed grumpy this morning.

A guy on another site actually wants to learn to do wind forecasting for kiting. An admirable goal but perhaps a lot more work than he realizes. This is what I passed along to him, it is more than I would want to undertake.

You could be buried under the books on meteorology and forecasting. There are implicit sources of inaccuracies in forecasting due to complexity and variability in weather that are hard to escape at this point. Also, micro vs. macro meteorology present significant issues for kiters at times. You may just want to start with some online resources and see where you go from there.

You have your work cut out for you. Still with enough motivation and work you could learn a great deal and perhaps help our understanding of kiting wind.

I have never cared for your opinion, regardless of a "mood".
You realize a friend of mine made an innocuous post about possible
Wind and u questioned it. Wonder what mood would motivate

People frequently ask about wind forecasts two weeks or even a week out on here and elsewhere. We agree the forecasts that far out aren't worth much at all. That is the point.
