Slingshot, Greepeace, and Triton Kiteboarding teamed up this year in an attempt to break the world record for distance traveled on a kiteboard in a single shot. The goal was to cover just shy of 200 miles in one fell swoop in an attempt to raise awareness for No Take Marine Reserves in Florida. The conditions this season were less than optimal and the four riders have maintained their training with the hope of still completing the run, however they will be doing it on personal equiptment. These kites are brand new and have been used just for publicity purposes most of them have not even seen time on the water. The kites are a special limited edition as they are branded with Greenpeace Logos and a variety of critical sea life including a Turtle, Shark, Tuna, and Whale. These kites look amazing in the sky and will deffinitly attract more than average attention as you fly down the beach. A perfect all around bow kite with the highest levels of range, safety, and relaunchability perect for the beginner or the experienced free rider looking to get alot out of a single kite. Just wanted to add in that with summer coming up the T3 14 is a truck of a kite, the low end has us riding on skimboards at around 10 knts down here in Pass-A-Grille. Summer winds are light and for a noob trying to get a sick deal on a low end kite look no further. P.S. We will provide an exclusive 6 month extended warranty on these kites, any impact related tears or worn bridals will be fixed or replaced on Triton Kiteboarding. Repairs needed thanks to negligent action and mistreatment of the kite will not be covered.
