At 5pm, please be safe

Doppler has a band moving right at us from the ENE of us.
It's windy now, it could possibly blow up as the band passes, even if only for 10 minutes (I think it'll last for a few hours).

If going out, please keep your eyes open for the clouds and don't put up a 16m kite. Last night at Lassing, when the clouds passed through (same scenario as what is coming) it LITT up straight to 25+.

Better safe than sorry.

Hopefully no one got smoked. Straight to 30, plus.

That was definitely some good wind. I was hoping for less so that Donna could ride the 11m.
She can comfortably hold that kite to 25, but it was more than that, especially in the gusts.

what a day..

got to demo the Rise and the HP and ride for over 2 hours litt outta my skull on my 12 and 9.

hp is a great kite.. imagine a high aspect waroo basically.. i got about 30 minutes on it and for about 20 minutes it was blowing pretty nice.. maybe 18 or so.. Jayson was on his 12m atom and going off.. i was hitting some nice jumps and kite is smoooooth. it really has serious power thru the window.. i would land my jumps and as i was bringing the kite back up it would pull me off my edge it had so much grunt ..

i only got to ride the rise in light wind.. but i can say this.. i was staying with the wind on a 12 when another guy that was prob about 20lbs lighter was just going upwind on a 17m waroo.

its got the power and is quick.. it would be a great kite for anyone that is used to a waroo.. very similar feeling on the bar but faster thru the window..
ive heard negative reviews of their last kites (the one) but the Rise is something to take a look at.
