Cool

Bob,

I'm pretty sure you did a great job answering those questions. I'm recording channel 10 and 13.

Good job on the report. They forgot to say. This was an indiot kid who bought a kite off ebay and thought he was invincible. But props are to Bob, those reporters can try to trap you for an interesting story.

I personally enjoyed the interview with Nekton surf shop employees???? And the display of a wake style surfboard???? And the comment... kiteboarding is generally the next step after mastering surfing???? Um, not really. WTF????? Well, Bob did a great job, faced with the task of fighting for credibility over the giant "DANGEROUS SPORT" background posted behind the anchors. All and all, good for a laugh. Hope Christopher recovers quickly.

yeah, guess they couldn't find a nearby kiteboarding shop so lets just be glad that surf shop was cool and didn't say something negative about kiteboarding. I'm sure the reporter would have just loved it if they had.

Thanks for not making too much fun of me. Although the interviewer was nice, she tried very hard to get me to say kiting was dangerous and the lofting comment was as close as i came. Of course that is what they ran. I said a lot about our great safety minded group of riders and positive things about proper trainning and local instructors. All of that didn't make it. Oh well maybe next time they catch someone else dragging their sorry assed tangled up mess on to the beach after a spectacular kite looping chrash.

On the video was Bryan L. getting air and Jeff doing a stand up water start.

One thing that needs to be noticed. While the cameras where rolling, the landing area was orginized and everyone had there kite in complete control.

Its hard to make bad press when everyone is having so much fun. Oh, and on last note, Was I the only one that felt like this weekend was opening season and the summer is finally over. I guess that Mustang restoration will need to wait another year! Lets Ride!

Angry

Why would they interview employees from a Surf Shop? A lot of upper body strenght?
