it was north till about 8am then it slowly went NNE,
the sensor was way off this morning considering my wind meter was reading an average of 24 with lulls to 19 and gusts to 30 mph

i was pretty litt on my 13m, could have ridden a 9m 8)

Well skyway wasnt as good. I was consistently underpowered on the 15m and not having fun on the 18m either. Spent all day slogging around and finally gave up and went home.

I had a great time on my 15. I was litt most of the time on my small board til it died :P (Note to self, this was ten minutes after Kev showed up!! LOL)

Heck, I had a great time on the 11 Instinct for about a half hour, too.
Then Donna, Tony and Tiff each rode it for about an 45 minutes each.

I already know who is gonna have my 15 in about 9 months

North side.

I thought it was pretty good, but I don't need as much as I use to to get pretty litt up on these new kites. It was solid 15 for at least a couple hours, wasn't it, Tom? I can't tell on my kite anymore (that's a good thing!)
It was gusty, though.... I think that is what "got to" Tom.

I am confident the south side was much more windy and stable, because out in the channel it was nuking and a few guys came over from over there and said so, too. I just didn't know how fast the tide would come up on the other side to make for no land and "land"ing the kite difficult so I passed on that side.

Correct, it WAS windy!

I was on the 14m starting at 7:00 and by the time Lori and I left ( 8:30 ) I would'a had to switch down in size for sure

Lori was on a 9m and a small board, she even "landed" her own kite by herself since by the time I saw her wanting to land and raced downwind from bishops island she was all landed

Good morning for sure, I think tommorow will be SW N , except for no water ops:

I was a bit underpowered on the 9 wish I had rigged the 12 but thought it was going to pick up which it never did I should learn to rig for what it is blowing not what some forecast is saying it is going.

But all in all we had a good time at south side. Raul was plenty powered on his 14.

Raul forgot to mention I was on my small and only board since the SP was on BigR's feet  Here I go again creating conterversy ops:

Glad I finally landed the Xbow kite on my own 8) . That is one thing I missed about the c-kite.
