I'd prefer EB too ENE is ok NE is side shore NNE is off shore, but hey these forecasters can't call s#!t. Who knows what it will be blowing or when it will shift. I'll have my kite and kit in the car and if it is blowin I'll be late for work.

I was guessing East and thinking offshore at Cypress too.

Anyway, we got wind right now (ha!) I tried to get Donna up here today, but she couldn't come up :?

EB tommorow is a no no no

This is not about forecasting at all

it is about hurricanes, They spin in a certain direction, i.e. counterclockwise

Therefore by morning the wind will be NE , switching to N then to NW W SWetc
assuming the cane slides by to the east of us

If it passed to the west then we would get S followed by SW ( Gulp! ) then W and finally NW and N

Take a round spinner and move it around a map of tampa bay in different trajectories and you will get an idea of how winds will shift during a storm like this

R, your right, partially, the deciding factor is when the winds shift, if at 5am they are already NE then EB is a no go, but if they are still from the E then its a go... remember the good 'ol dayz bigR when we DP'd all the time, on the water by 6am and at work by 9am, in the 2hrs on the water the wind doesnt change direction,... much

Steve Jerve has the eye(if you call it that) parallel to the bay area around 2PM, so I gotta think Skyway is gonna be a Nor' Easter in the AM, but maybe East at dawn, so logically I gotta say see ya at the Skyway. I just hope there's enough wind to get it up  .
