Default Sun EB

The forecast isn't anything to write home about, but it is the day before new years and we're talking about kiting in board shorts and rash guards, how much better could it be. Say a prayer for those hearty souls living in the North. I'll be at East Beach, I'm going to let my daughter work on water starts, so we'll try to stay out of everyones way.

Not much reason to rush out today, it should pick up around noon.
Doppler looks good for a funneling of sse to ssw. That usually peaks right around then for a few

Good, because I feel like sh*t. Ate 8 Reeses peanut butter cups, a Kit Kat bar, and a big-ass bag of gummy bears when I got home yesterday. Not recommended.

Scott,
how about sticking your head out of your window and giving us a report? Is it blowin yet? Looks like it might be a slow start, but pick up through out the day.

Usually when it looks like this (strong band to the west) it is not a gradual pickup but a switch gets hit.
I am gonna wait today and hope for the "turbo" switch around noon. Hopefully it will happen.
I do wish that band of showers were closer (but not too close).

I would guess 9 to 11 right now.
Rig big and get ready to get blown off if you go out now. (I hope)

Cool

Whadya think wind guru Scott, is it gonna happen at EB? I hate a 40 minute drive for a skunker. It looks almost rideable.
