Sand Key is a REAL walk from the trolley into the park on the return (they drop you off at the park entrance)
A suggestion would be John's Pass to the Undertow.

I am open to any ideas myself.
Anyone know a spot to start at IRB where parking won't be limited?

Should be a good, but cold day.

Cool. Dean, just so you or anyone else knows we are extremely welcoming of riders of all levels here. That guy was intentionally jumping right into people though and had the skill to decide otherwise. It seemed more like extreme discourteousy to me than anything.
Doing it once or twice is just a mistake and we all do it occassionally. This guy was doing repeatedly (kook).

It'd be cool to have you and ten of us or so out there
Donna's gonna give it a shot, any other kiter gals?

My truck is available to carry riders up to the start if someone would like to leave a return vehicle. That way we can still set up at Sand Key and not deal with the walk back into the park. I can hold 5 riders with gear and maybe 1 more if you dont mind holding your gear.

I'd like to start at Sand Key to get in a longer d-winder.

It sounds like the way to go is to meet at the North side of John's Pass. There is alot of parking there and Bayflite is going to have some demo gear available.
JP is a reasonable place to meet anyway for a downwinder. This way we can try some new gear and then ride. We will try to leave the beach around 1pm or so and maybe do a second one if anyone wants to.

Some people are talking about racing. That sounds like it could be fun.
Anyone that wants to show up bring 1.50 for the trolley and wear booties (the trolleys won't let you on without "shoes")

I am not sure the game plan. I was hoping that Mike or Bryan would post on here to confirm. It looks like it might not clear up for awhile. Hopefully the wind will fill in stronger when it does.

If it is W or WNW, downwinders wouldn't make as much sense as NW or N would.
