Default Ft. Pierce Area Kiters.....

I 'm not sure if the kiters in the Fort Pierce area are doing much posting. I have always seen the same group of active kiters around the area but have not seen any posting in the northeast forum.
I am still new to the sport. I try to take every opprotunity to get out there and practice. But sometime I am hesitant to do it by myself. I hope the crew of the "central eastcoast" can be more active in the communication with other fellow kiters.
And thanks to local star like GK for getting the newbies the right info..

Welcome aboard! I have spoken to GK about this a few times in the past. Apparently most of the active riders in the area don't mess around on the Internet much if at all. The inlet has a great deal to offer kiters as does Treasure Coast Kiteboarding, Greg and the crew. So, keep us plugged in on what is going on and who knows, you might bring some other guys from the area online.

Hi Rick,

Yesterday sure was a windy one in Ft Pierce. There was a big turn out. I had a chance to meet some new faces. Some of which were Hanna, Mike, Scott and George. There were many other but they did not introduce themselves. It everyone who spoke with me were all very nice. Maybe next time more will introduce themselves.

Sadly to say I did not had much ride time. Once I got my kite up and flying, there were many gust that made it had to control. I think I had the kite depowered too much which made the kite flutter. Anyway it did not seem to be a newbie atmosphere. So I watched all the expierence riders ripped it up.

It was just nice to be there (getting sand blastted).

GK was also there. I spoke with him about the forum. He did mention that many of the kiters do not use the internet.

Anyway thamks for the reply posting.
