About 9 of us ended up out at North Beach today.
That was the coldest day of riding I remember for quite a long time (in this area). |

My face was cold today! The sun was our saving grace. Was a really nice session today. There were 8 or 9 of us up north all day.

One by-product of really cold weather for extended periods is fish kills.

Yeah. I went for a bike ride today out on SPB and saw hundreds of dead fish.
Keep in mind that they clean the beach from Blind Pass to PaG each morning out there with the tractors, so what you see out there is just one day's accumulation, I believe. I saw primarily silver jennies and some mullet. |

Not near as bad as the red tide a few years ago. Anyone that was around here remembers that for sure. Shore Acres to the Gulf was packed with dead fish. |
