Default Heavy Gusty Winds Today and Tomorow

NOAA and Wind Guru as well as other forecasters are calling for gusts in excess of 35 - 40 knts later today and esepecially tomorrow, if you doubt yourself or any part of your gear (bridals, chicken loop lines, ect...) think thrice before heading out.

Good call Matt. I was out this morning at honeymoon and it was a rollercoaster out there, it was actually too much work to ride due to the gusts. Had I not been on a 25 meter C kite filled with hellium and trick skis, I might have had a better chance!

Tomorrow is another day!

I was also at Honeymoon from 11:30 - 3pm. Today takes the cake for the gustiest(is this a word?) I've ever been out in. You really had to pay attention to what the kite was doing b/c the wind was all over the place. Sometimes when you dipped the kite there was nothing and the next time it would pull you off your board. Launching was scary. I think I mastered my ass out/kite high sailing technique though.

Wind is howling off Bayshore this AM as I drink my coffee...

Still would like to see someone ride up here... One day....

Geezus it's windy. I might be forced to use my hurricane kite today.

Solid 30 to 40 (and that's in my yard.... )

And Here I thought I could make it thru my first kitesurfin' season with only a 12M and a 16M.

Guess I need a 9M, or a 7M for weekends like this, huh??

You guys were goin' off at Honeymoon yesterday! Today's even gustier!

I gotta work today, wonder if it will be good at EB tomorrow??

Todd RT,

I think it might be too much NNE tomorrow for EB to be all that good.
The SW might be good until around 11 am.
