Snow in Ft. Lauderdale? or Warren Miller Movie Nite

Warren Miller is bringing his latest feature film "Off the Grid" to the big screen at the Broward Center for Performing Arts, Saturday night, November 4, 2006.  Last years feature. We may have wind, then again, we may not on that day. This happens at night however. For thousands of snow riders Warren's epic film romps through the mountains have been the starting gun for ski season for decades. It is usually a fun night and a must attend for folks heading to the mountains or just those that would like to. This is his 57th year of doing this and the flix just keep getting better, amazing!  Lots of kiters like mountain sports too. Why not make a night of it? We could meet for dinner someplace downtown, like the boat dock at Shirttail Charlies or some other place and hit the show after. 1st year in 5years that i dont spend 7 days snowboarding @ Whistler....going to Cartagena, Colombia...but i will get like 3 days of kiteboarding....

What a better way to wrap up a great day of wind, water and waves than to checkout Warren's latest creation to kick off the ski season? Wind's on today and tomorrow, movie at 8.30 pm tomorrow night! What about meeting for dinner at Shirt Tails before?
Some major surf and wind out there so have a care and blow it off if that is the way to go. Should be a fun weekend!

BVI Chris and Janis will be at the movie. Being from SLC / PC I can't wait to see my hometown snow and friends. Going home in a few weeks so this should some good inspiration as well

I hope folks had fun last night at the movies! It was great to see local shredders make the show. Ski season is almost here, although with winds 24 to 30 kts. this morning and the ocean calling, it is a bit harder to imagine. Soon ...
