Default OT...Update on the car with pics.

Heres a quick update as to last years summer project with pics of todays progress. WE HAVE PAINT!!!.

This car is now 42 years old and almost everything on it is brand new. I'll need to rename her as she has been known as the "RUSTBUCKET" but that name no longer applies.

Very nice Josh, I've ordered new rims and BF Goodrich T/A radials for the car. Here are a couple of photos with the new Shelby Stripes!

I agree AL, Eleanor is sweet. But my pick would be the Vette with the muscle. 71 Convertible Stingray with factory 454.

The car currentyl has the original 6cyl. engine. What I may do in a few years is crate the original engine and drop in a 302 Boss. Before doing so, there are many changes that will need to happen. First, disk brakes on front which I have already ordered and will be converting in the coming weeks. Second, install the 9" rear end for with the higher ratio gear. Lastely, support he frame rails for the additional torque. After that, the car will be ready for quarter mile runs. Until alll of those changes, its going to be a cruiser that looks like its ready to run. Truth is, most wheelchairs have more horsepower than the current engine...
