Actually, though, I don't think any of us--including me--needed to see this photo. What was simply a display of my bad attitude while Roy was trying to take photos has now turned into an outrage that will scar the whole local crew for life.

No worries, I'll probably get more room on the water to myself after showing off this surface handle ass...I mean pass!

Since LWDave is in town, I figured I'd attach this ancient (well... not so ancient) pic of me with one of my favorite boards of the era, and the old wipika airblast.

Randy was already out on the water in this shot from Treasure Island taken by Dane Tessler.
A shot Dane took of Randy that day made the paper the following week. You can barely see Randy's kite out there on the water, the same kite I had .....even the same color... not so many choices I guess back then (?)
