Default looking for a trainer kite

i have a friend who's kid wants to get into the sport, anybody tried those small 1m tfoil trainers?

he's only about 70-80 lbs at the most, so a 2m would probably drag him all over the place

thanx for any help

If a little 2M foil is gonna drag him all over the place, he has no business under a big kite. :P

But seriously, in my experience, the smaller the trainer, the less of an accurate feel you get for how the kite will move through the window. The smaller ones are too quick and much more like stunt kites...

Default Trainer

Yeah I have a 1.5 meter t-foil I trained on. They are fun to fly and it did help me learn on how to fly the big boys!
