My Neilpryde Semi-Dry is great. Way better than a regular wet suit, in my opinion. Comfortable to about 50 degree air temp or so. ...and I get cold easy!

You may want to check out Mystic's wetsuits. They are very nice and warm. I just got my Maui Magic 4/3 (Mystic's women's line of products), from Emerald Coast Kiteboarding. It is excellent!!! The other guys who have been using the Mystic suits absolutely love them!!! I know that the shop manager, Wayne, is about to order a bunch more stuff from them, so you may want to give him a call!! 850-235-2444!!

I'm more north of you in Panama City, and I plan to use the 4/3 the most and get a 5/3 for the colder Jan/Feb days. Our water temps will drop into the upper 50's at times, but I find that it's the wind that's the killer. Sometimes, a windbreaker over the suit helps the most. That 5/3 will be a little bit more "penguinizing" IMO.

I've got the 2008 NeilPryde 4/3 semidry, i believe it's the 3000series or something to that effect. Awesome wet suit. I had the 2007 last season, kept me so warm I often left the back unzipped just to cool me down. The material on the '08 has much more stretch to it. You should check them out, WSW carries 'em.

Here's another brand to consider, Pro-limit. I have the global series one.
http://www.pro-limit.com/displayitem...p?item_id=4195 I think getting a really good wetsuit is worth the money, imo, for two reasons. One is that if it is more freely moving and keeps you warm, you will have more fun, by far. The other is that if it is well made, it will last several seasons, ultimately paying for itself by not needing to be replaced. If possible try on a few and make sure you can move around moderately freely in it. Nothing is worse than using up all of your energy just pumping up your kite because your wetsuit makes any movement a workout. I use to get worn out just walking to North Beach from the parking lot in my old wetsuit. Getting a hoodie to warm your head probably isn't a bad idea either. I tried to find the reference page on the O.R. site, this is as close as I could get. It's the thing on the maniken's head in the picture. It's called a neo cap and is about 18 bucks. http://www.oceanrodeo.com/clothing/caps.php |

I think your link is more appealing, but here is where you can buy the beanie.
