cypress monday?

looks like there could be some WNW winds coming in late monday. i was thinking of checking out cypress beach. anyone know much about it?

With Monday's possible wind direction coming strong from the west, I prefer Picnic over at the port. With plenty more flats along the shoreline I think it's the better spot on this side of the bay. Granted, Cypress will typically be less choppy, especially in the back corner near 275. With a high tide that back corner is nice to ride. Monday's tide is low most of the day. At about 75 yards from shore it drops of to 8 foot. There's not much shoreline to speak of. These days on a west I head to Picnic. I'll be there Monday.

what time are you looking on going? i'm free for most of the day, wouldn't mind kiting with someone else.

I will probably be at Cypress around 4pm. Just rode at Picnic yesterday so going for a change of scenery. Plus it is closer to home.
