Default Photo Shoot ... Where?

A production company is trying to find a location, in or near the USA
for a shoot involving kiteboarding in January 2005.

The locale needs to have good reliable wind and a good chance of some
squall-like clouds coming through. I expect the goal is to have the
rider in the foreground with some nasty stuff away in the background.

This as opposed to barbaquing the riders in the squalls of course.

Any suggestions?

How about the Keys durring a passing cold front. There always seems to be nasty weather involved with those things. To bad they could not wait till the summer and get a typical summer after noon with big thunder boomers rolling off of the water. Something like this I imagine?

Mabe a little more extreme weather

Hello Michael,

Nice Keys shots. Yes, shooting in the summer months would assure some squalls such as you captured. If a wet front moves through there could easily be the same again in January. It all comes down to timing and luck really. Still, for Florida, the Keys have had fairly consistent wind. Thanks for your suggestion.

Any other ideas out there?
