i am quite positive that a storm will hit the day I am supposed to fly out.
thats what happened last year when Dan and I already had our hotel booked in OBX and the tropical storm hit us. tho we did get some sick riding here and the storm didnt cause any damage.. win win situation i guess.

Backside from 5:30 - 8pm.
Don't believe the sensors. I was on a small board jumping the over the beach where it sticks out at the south end. It was a blast, but it was only 4 inches deep! One other rider showed up at 7:00 or so, but I was ready to pack up by then.
