Default Nice Sea Breeze Today 6/24

It felt pretty dry out and with all that easterly wind moving around the state, it sure kicked up a nice sea breeze. Didn't see any signs of storms out there either.

I went ahead and used the "windy alert" text as it seemed to be a sure thing from what I could tell.

I looked at tomorrows humidity and it is low again, so the high pressure must be sticking around. Still some strong easterly flow in S. Florida, so maybe another round of breeze in the pm.

Keep an eye on your favorite meter, flag, tree, or cam.....may happen.

I think the closest spot to you is Cypress Park on the East side of the bay near 275. I believe you get there by Cypress St.

Only works on certain wind directions.

The seabreeze today was mostly along the coast.

Thanks Steve-O.

At this point I wouldnt mind driving a little further. Perhaps Lassing if the spot is good since winds seem to coming east over the weekend. Any feedback?

Yup, Lassing Park works fine on an east. If it has alot of south in it, your better off at East Beach in Ft. Desoto. Same if it has alot of north.

True East is good at LP.

Have fun and be safe.
