Moving to Sandestin, FL... Anyone able to give me some info?

Hello,

Im moving to Sandestin, FL from Hood River, OR in about a month or so and I got a question as to what kitesizes are most commonly used there and what are some of the riding spots around that area? I'll be living on 30A for those who are familiar with that area.

I want to have my quiver ready before I get down there, any info is much appreciated.

You may want to post in the Northwest, Florida section. I live in Panama City, and there are several kiters between here and Ft. Walton Beach. With you on 30A, you will be right in between. Several places to ride. Check out: www.pcbkitesurf.com for local info and launches across the panhandle region.

You will use all kite sizes here. The wind is weather dependent with Fall through Spring the better months. Spring has been great, 7M-10M kites over the past three or more weeks. But, summer is around the corner, and the wind dies out. YOu will learn more when you get here. Welcome to some of the state's prettiest beaches!!!
