Awesome WNW in the Gulf 1-9-07

We had an awesome day in the Gulf yesterday. Water was absolutely beautiful, especially since it was rolling with white caps. Wayne was on the 15M Waroooo, Ed and Linda on 12M Cabrinhas, Rick on 16M Assault, and Mark on a 12 North Vegas. Wind really kicked in around 1 and we had a blast. Saw other kites down the beach closer to the State Park, but they weren't out as long as the rest of us. Then Eric showed up around 4 and the wind went DEAD. Hope some of you others got the chance to ride. Now, I just need to recover!! See you on the water, Linda

I got to ride! I went out to the beach from my house. I was on the new 12 Ocean Rodeo One and Mako Pro. My first time with the Go Joe as well. Works as advertised ... no more swimming for the board. Yay! The new kite has some nice improvements on the '06 design - one pump and nicer, simpler bar.
Water was nice here too of course. No other soul but a few canadians.
