Default BEST bashes X-Bow: wow.

This is what someone very senior at BEST had to say about the x-bow:

* kite turns inside out (even with hard pumped bladder)
* slides in the turns
* kiteloop is a joke
* no power in downstroke (or in any turn)
* massive bar pressure
* different to fly (not good different)
* can't unspin the bar
* sheet out & fall like a rock
* zero hang time
---------------------------
* But it's a good beginner kite (full depower) and great for learning handlepasses.

He says "We prototyped a very similar kite over a year ago with the exact same results as the crossbow and decided not to pursue the design because it had too many disadvantages."

Now I don't believe all this anymore than I believe all the hype about the BEST "you-know-what" (HF). But I do believe that the X-bow will not be perfect- no kite is- and that buyers of a first generation anything need to understand that there may be issues to iron out.

That said I'm sure its got some great features. Can't wait to see one here- soon?

do't bash it untill you try it.
air rush seem to be flying under the radar , so there will probibly not be alot of air rush bashing going on in here but I thing we should take it easy on the pimping of gear balloonbloke.
remember who the moderater is and what I do for a living.
