The cold front(s) are on the way. Northern Florida is already showing evidence of it in the wind. Here's the latest out of NWS:

TONIGHT
NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS. NEAR
SHORE...SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET SUBSIDING TO 2 TO 4 FEET AFTER MIDNIGHT.
IN THE GULF STREAM...SEAS 6 TO 8 FEET BUILDING TO 8 TO 10 FEET
AFTER MIDNIGHT. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A MODERATE CHOP.

FRIDAY
NORTH WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET NEAR SHORE
AND UP TO 8 TO 10 FEET IN THE GULF STREAM. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A
MODERATE CHOP.

FRIDAY NIGHT
NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS BECOMING EAST 10 TO
15 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. NEAR SHORE...SEAS 2 TO 4 FEET SUBSIDING TO
2 FEET OR LESS AFTER MIDNIGHT. WELL OFFSHORE...SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET
SUBSIDING TO 3 TO 5 FEET AFTER MIDNIGHT. INTRACOASTAL WATERS CHOPPY
IN EXPOSED AREAS.

SATURDAY
SOUTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 2 FEET OR LESS
NEAR SHORE AND UP TO 2 TO 4 FEET WELL OFFSHORE. INTRACOASTAL WATERS
A MODERATE CHOP. ISOLATED LIGHT SHOWERS.

SATURDAY NIGHT
SOUTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS BECOMING SOUTH
20 TO 25 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET. INTRACOASTAL
WATERS A MODERATE CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

SUNDAY
WEST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET NEAR SHORE
AND UP TO 3 TO 5 FEET WELL OFFSHORE. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A MODERATE
CHOP. CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

SUNDAY NIGHT
NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS BECOMING 15 TO
20 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET NEAR SHORE AND UP TO 5 TO
7 FEET WELL OFFSHORE. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A MODERATE CHOP.

MONDAY
NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS BECOMING 15 TO 20 KNOTS IN
THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 2 TO 3 FEET NEAR SHORE AND UP TO 6 TO 8 FEET
IN THE GULF STREAM. INTRACOASTAL WATERS A MODERATE CHOP.


So, it looks like a few fronts will be rolling through in short order. Temperatures are forecast to be on the order of:

Mostly
Sunny
Hi 68°F, Lo 46°F (early am) Friday

Mostly
Clear
Hi 75°F, Lo 54°F (early am) Saturday

Chance
Showers
Hi 76°, Lo 62°F (early am)Sunday

So, don't forget your wetsuit or blubber oil if you like the old ways?!
