Default Ben Franklin Kiting In Pictures?

... well, more like in cartoons. Still, it is intriguing.

I heard he did this over ice. Must have been in the winter issue?

I understand this publication dates from sometime in the 1940's. Came across this in a frame at the International Swimming Hall Of Fame today.

OK, so Ben may have been the first to shred across a lake with a kite. But what about the first guy to do it with a harness, or twin tip? More milestones.
