Default Too much wind for my 12M?

Hey Guys,

Tim from MA here again. Thinking of riding today, but the smallest kite i have is a 12M Switchblade (180lbs on a JL 139). Up in MA, NW tends to be very gusty...is that the case down here? Is it worth me going out or will I be too overpowered? Any suggestions on where to ride?

Thanks,
tim

I left North Beach around 3pm.
It never got too hairy. Probably solid 25, maybe gusting to 30.
Started off pretty light (around 9:30 am) at 15 or less.
On the 9m Waroo the whole time. Perfect.

yep , perfect for the 12m xbowIII at first then switched down to the 9m as wind kept increasing. tides were kinda funky ( slack ), so no waves but still fun on the waveboard. Lori tried that directional for the first time and even succeeded a gybe! Yeehaaaa! now she just needs one of her own , and she'll prolly ride it strapless!!!

Did a downwinder at the gulf with Big G. Lots wind and fun, I didn't see a lot kites at the beach.

10, maybe more were at the SW, but it was nice, because everyone scattered through out the flats. Gusty at times, but still a great session.

Ugh. I had a 12m Ion in my truck. I offered it to two others.
Just ask around.
