Wow, nice swells. What was the wind like? Any squalls? I was away from my computer and had only vague details about the wx/tide ills that hit the east coast over the weekend.

pretty much a classic New England Noreaster, Fri was NE (offshore) gusty but no squalls, only myself and local shop owner Christian went out Fri, I stayed in the beach break and Christian headed offshore to a exposed point break that was huge (i pussed out), to bad no pics as he killed triple overhead lefts.

Sat breeze went right to ENE (side off) still gusty as storm moved north of us here in RI, some minor rain bands but not squally, we had fog bands that rolled thru that would lower the breeze. No real problems; a couple broken line issues, one rescue that we managed in fine form and one brave newbie fished out the rocks with just his ego bruised

Sick looking session wave and kite.

But crap, does it just look cold. Big props for going out in those temps.

Had some friends that use to kite the Rhode Island area and they say the cold is no joke.
