7-10-16 or 7-13-16m - Help me please

I'm 195lbs, ride a 140x40 cm TT in chop and ocean on Florida's Central East Coast.

I want to get 3 Bularoos.

7-10-16 or 7-13-16

Winds are 10-30 thru-out the year. I may also get a small surfboard.

10 or 13 is the big question. Please comment.

I think for your size, that you'll use the 13 more than the 10. 12 meter kites have always seemed to be the all around kite size for Florida's windy season. Plus you'll be on a 140 tt so a little extra power will help get you trough the waves.

We aren't that far apart in weight or riding area. I have no real time on the Bullaroo but assume the wind envelop is similar to that of a Waroo? 7 m kites for heavier guys get very little use. At the same time if it is a strong wind day you may want one. We can agree on the 16 m. You might consider 9-13-16 or perhaps 9-12-16. It really depends on how strong the winds are this season. Btw, I am looking around for a 7 m, just in case.

For a windy FL winter front, will a 7 m be too small?

So the 13 will get more use than the 10, but I'm concerned about the gap from 13 to 7?

My smallest kite since flat kites came out in late 2005 has been a 9 m and haven't had overpowering winds with it yet in SE Florida. I have had the most use out of 12 m flat kites. I would say to avoid the the 13 m and go with a 12 m.

Here's another consideration for the 7 m. A 195 lb. guy that needs a 7 m is going out into advanced weather conditions. That is high wind, likely large waves, pretty challenging stuff. If you're already there, no problem. If not, I wouldn't worry about rigging up for 7 m conditions quite yet.

The gap between 12 and 16 m has some major overlap. The same might be said to a lesser degree between a 9 and 12 m. It is in the range extremes you'll notice the difference, i.e. in lighter winds favoring the 12 m and the 9 m in stronger conditions.
