i got in about 1 solid hour on the 12m waroo and then another 30 minutes on a Toby's ION.

Did I mention that 25minutes of the ION ride was walking the kite back in from just outside the channel?

wind turned just as I was coming back in from my first tack.. and PLOP.. kite dropped and that was that.

oh well..

Yeah Paul Fox, E-Bone and I were standing on the beach and looked at each other then E-Bone held his hands out and said "did he wind just shift??? Bryan better get himself back in these offshore winds". Then *click*...someone flipped a switch and the light wind we had just abruptly stopped and Bryan was off on a trudge through the backside mud...

I actually went to the other side and rigged. It was blowing 13 E or so as I rigged and I was laughing at how I was going to steal an east session.

Once I was ready and launched, though, it dropped to 8 mph and I got to play with my kite in the water. There ain't no cure for the summertime blues.

lots of dolphin in the channel yesterday.. typcially see a pod or two every couple sessions in that area.

on a NW wind, the run from BS to EB is pretty damn amazing and has almost a zen-like quality.
