Default bahamas in november

thanks for listening.

need some help regarding a visit in november 07, my sister is planning a bash for her 60th birthday, wants a place for the 10 of us on or near the sand for a week or two.

and of course, i am thinking wind. my guess is your riding in the winter is all frontal/pre-post hurricane? am i right? never kited in the bahamas, heard some good stories. can ya' hep a bratha out?

any ideas of the best place near some 3-to-4 star digs, most consistent wind chances, side onshore for the newbies in the group, of course we would love to kite off or own beach if possible, but day trips are cool.

t and c's are also an option. anyone kited there in november?

thanks again, and if you are heading to the northwest, i would be happy to return the favor.

Default gday Jimmy

the cold fronts realy do the opp to what they do in florida, we have a bit of a trade wind winter is ene when a cold front comes through unless it is a strong one it messes up our wind.
winter here is still good for wind in between cold fronts.
the place to stay for that amount of people would be the cable beach strip it's close to where we kite in winter (goodmans bay).
but iut's not the place to experiment with kiteboarding it is a intermediate to advanced spot with tones of tourists and jet ski trafic.
there are no laws here against kiteboarding ,so please don't do what you wouldn't do on your beach.
if any of your crowd wants lessons or to rent gear give me a hail.

ps a good link for accommodation's is bahamas.com search for cable beach (the radison is getting a face lift and would be a nice place to stay)

Kiting in November is great here in november, mostly frontal weather but its still rideable about 4 out of 7 days a week. We locals have some favourite spots that are best suited for kiting, but since nassau is sucha small island none of them would be more than 15-25 mins away at most. There are some great flat water spots and all the locals (all 8 of us) are really friendly and willing to help out.
