I may beat you...

If you see a White Ford Ranger and nobody on the water, knock on my window to wake me up.

SW was awesome this morning and I bet it still is. Plenty of power on the 9m Roo. Maybe I'll see you guys at the afternoon/evening session.

I'll see you guys around 3. I'm in the library right now, just finished my exam about 45 minutes ago...

I woke up at 5:30 and just decided I'd rather sleep some more.

What time does the sun come up?

If it comes up around 7, it's not worth me going out there to DP... I can only ride until about 7:20, I have to leave the SW at about 7:30 to get to class on time.

Ebone..
You have a handle on the windrange on that Roo?

Seems like if I am on a 11 you are on the 9 .. if I am on a 13 .. you are on a 9.. even been a few times that I am on a 15 and you are still on that same 9 w/ your glide and flying upwind.

WTF!?

I clock in probably about 20+ lbs more than you.. Hoping that a 12m waroo will completely take the place of my 11-15 kites... any less wind.. I'll be on the rhino 20... any more.. Ill have to get myself a 9 waroo.

Sucks that it might be here too late for the season.

Have to take a few summer trips I guess.

Seems like it has a lot of range. My plan is to add the 12m and use a 2 kite quiver for a while. If I can't go on the 12m, I won't ride. Of course, I have 3 boards, a 118 Gaastra, a 130ish Wipika Abreu, and the Glide (not to mention the wakeboard, the wakeskate, and the skim). So, with all the boards, I am hoping I will be able to get away with two kites. Time will tell.

when you give that waroo a few whips to get the apparent wind generated, it really kicks in.

Are other bows similar?

I rode a 16m switchblade in super light wind and it performed great. was not as fast (bigger kite of course)..

I personally perfer the simplicity of the waroo in regards to the bar/lines setup and single pully on the bridles.. and price is another big factor.
