Default White Water On Video

Had a nasty storm, ("Southerly Buster?") hit Wellington, NZ on March 12, 2010. Winds went up to 140 km/hr (about 87 mph). It is a time lapse video and you can see the clouds move in and then the white water zone stirred up my greater than hurricane strength winds. Understand the storm moved in about ten minutes. They can travel a mile a minute and be on you in no time. The guy shooting the video commented on parts of a nearby house roof blowing past his car as he was filming. NZ gets some pretty dramatic weather, then again, so do we in Florida. Makes sense to do proper weather planning and monitoring for your kite sessions. If you see white water inbound, act fast.

Here is another view:

Apparently it hit Melbourne, Australia first before slamming into Wellington, NZ.
