now i just need a hurricane.....

i have a 21m nemi for are seabreezes 9-15 knots
i have a 16m rhino for the normal days(thanx to E) 13-22knots
still have the 14m X3(probably going to sell it) 17-24knots
just got a 9m waroo( thanx to bayflite) 18-35knots

and also just recieved a FREE(30 bucks to ship it) 2002 airrush ATV 6.4 meter, found it online and the guy said he'd give it away, i openned it up, and it looks brand new, still crispy and brightly colored, should be good for 30-40+ knots

Be careful at the upper end. That 2002 6.4 m kite may in fact have a flat area approaching 1.36 * 6.4 m or closer to 9 m without the potential depowering capability of the Waroo. I don't think they started using actual flat kite areas across the board in labeling kites until 2003. I have an Airblast 6.3 m from the same year, it started to max out at or before 30 kts.

it says on the kite, 6.4 flat, and i think it also said 5.3 projected, something like that,
its definately a small kite, reminded me of scotts kite he was flying at NB in 30 knots, looked like a little blimp

At least now I'll have someone else to kite with at north bch on nukin' days if Scott doesn't come back!

well I have a 7 meter switchblade, and will be driving soon, so you should have 2 people to kite with on nukin' days :lol:

I have a Airush Pilot 6m. Its the smallest size made in the pilot line.
It is cut like a GTO and feels pretty small and is very stable and handles gusts well.

I rode an ATV several years ago. It flew bigger than the number, not smaller. In other words, I think Rick is right. I can hold down the little green pilot in 40 fairly easily. I wouldn't want to try that on that ATV :shock:
Maybe I am wrong, I really hope I have the kites mixed in my mind

Try it in 25 to 30 first, not 40, just to be safe.

Well, I have Josh's old 7M Fuel so MY fat ass will be riding in some pretty high winds!!!

don't be so sure Toby,

I have been able to ride a 7m c kite ( 2001 cabrinha 7m blacktip ) in as low as 18 kts but not higher than 28 kts. I had to switch to a 5.6m after that.

The new bow kites actually let you go -20 to +30 easily ( like on my 9m Xbow )

i've rode that 7 meter toby has in 35+ knots, litt outa my mind, but could hold it down fairly easy.

my switchblade i've been in 35 to 40, with absoltly not problem.. still throwing kiteloops in that... can't imagine the max on that kite for me.
