Yes, true story and tons of it too. Warren Miller is bringing his latest feature film "Off the Grid" to the big screen at the Broward Center for Performing Arts, Saturday night, November 4, 2006.

Last years feature.

We may have wind, then again, we may not on that day. This happens at night however. For thousands of snow riders Warren's epic film romps through the mountains have been the starting gun for ski season for decades. It is usually a fun night and a must attend for folks heading to the mountains or just those that would like to. This is his 57th year of doing this and the flix just keep getting better, amazing!

Lots of kiters like mountain sports too. Why not make a night of it? We could meet for dinner someplace downtown, like the boat dock at Shirttail Charlies or some other place and hit the show after.

Shirttail's

What do you think?

Where's the green run?

"This year Warren Miller’s 57th annual feature film “Off the Grid” will take its viewers to remote locations around the globe. The world’s best skiers and riders travel the world skiing and riding big mountains, steep terrain and deep powder. India, Austria, and Switzerland are a few of the remote locations that this years film visits, with highlights and ground breaking material from the US Freeskier Open, the Olympic trials and backcountry cliff drops that will have you dropping your jaw. Kick the season off this year as Warren Miller takes us “Off the Grid.”
This tour includes all the usual big screen and big prize action. Don’t miss it!"
