Default Kiteboarding Access

In an article in SBC kiteboarding .com Blogs heading, has an article about preserving your Kiteboarding access. Kiteboarers can loose their access to their favorite spots. Check out the article. let's hope it does not happen to our beaches.

It is easy to lose access to kite, has happened all too often over the years. It is also EASY to preserve kiting access IF riders do a few basic things. Just because something is easy, doesn't mean it will happen.

The problem and solution, start and end with us. We just have to choose to care enough to protect our privilege to ride and act effectively in that regard as a community. No one likes to be an outsider, particularly one that is shunned by the rest of the community. We need to change and evolve how and where we ride particularly the leaders among us. Blow it off as is easily done and easy access may well get flushed with it.

I would add to the SBC article; ASK ABOUT THE RULES WHEN YOU SHOW UP. ( + BETTER to do so even before you arrive). Screwing up someone's access is a serious thing, work to avoid it.
