Rode NB from 12- 4:30. It was uncomfortably gusty for the first couple hours, but filled in a bit around 2. The tide must have started coming in just right because at about 200 yards out the waves cleaned up, and started coming in big long sets. It was amazing; completely ride able, and really big. I felt small out there.

I really wanted to ride out there today. NB is my personal favorite. I even worked on jibing my new directional (Al's old board) for at least an hour yesterday so that I could ride it today out there.
But the SW took a chunk out of my foot.... typical.
Oh well, it's happened before and will happen again. I have noticed often NB cleans up as the day progresses and it switches more NW.
I am just guessing it switched a tad. Did it?

It did.. It had a lot of N in it when i got there. I did notice it shift when I started making more ground going up wind. Real gusty, and holey tho.
