it looks to be an epic day for DP. Unfortuately I've got to be over in ft lauderdale for work the next couple days. This AM I missed DP but made MP. Not too bad at first but it died quickly.

Raul, what are you so worried about, i figured you of all people would understand the conditions the most, first off both reports i read say low tide at 11am, and also its a SE wind so the water stays in the bay more, there was enough water this morning, i couldnt even see the sand bar, it was all underwater, blowing solid 12-14, just enought to ride my 14m waroo,
i even tried to catch a school of about 6-8 4-5ft sharks that were chasing bait at the sand bar, but i didnt have enough wind to make it that far out, pretty cool to watch though as they were thrashing around in a foot of water

Hmmm, you're right . one of the charts ( mullet key channel Skyway )
had low tide at 11:00 while the other chart ( Skyway bridge ) had low tide at 8:30. :roll: time to invest in more accurate tide tables . I was waiting for the wind to pick up a bit more before going anyways, 14kts is barely going for me on the 14m so I'll go this afternoon instead Glad you had fun out there
