yeah, the wind sucked last weekend. we were all frothing at the mouth, especially with the forecast looking pretty good. it stayed E all day sunday, which is offshore in the gulf for us. we thought it was going to swing around to the SE for a great wave sesh, but that didn't happen until after dark...of course!!! after the rain passed, blew a hard W through sunset, too bad I couldn't get out there in time!! Figures, can never trust these forecasts anyway.

oh yeah, sorry sandibottom, i didn't want to mention the two crazy kiters riding in the offshore winds with no jet ski support. of course, you guys have such skill that you would never put that kite in the water!!! LOL glad you guys got to ride, but i had fun watching football!!!
BigR: yes, st. george island is great on E, ENE, NE, SE, S, and Saturday was the day to have been there, but we had a wedding to go to. St. George is nice, but can be choppy, similar to North Beach. In the right conditions, the waves can be really nice. On a SE, the State Park in P.C. is really awesome!! |
