Default In W Palm beach Oct 27-30-where to go

Hi,
I am traveling from the SF Bay area for a short business trip and will be staying in W. Palm Beach at The Breakers Resort. I will be bringing my gear along and am hoping to get in a few days. I have never been to the area and would appreciate any advice on kiting spots in the area. I will have a car so I can venture out some. I have looked around this site and have found some info, but was hoping on getting info on specific spots that might be good this weekend and into next week. I love both flat water and waves.
Any advice/tips will be greatly appreciated.
-thanks

Welcome to South FL!

Your not going to find much if any flat water around here. But (if theres wind) should be some fun blue water wind chop in the Ocean. Kiteable areas up in Palm Beach would be Clark Rd and "Flag Pole" which is just South of Clark. You'll see it. Perhaps Rick or some one up in PB can offer more info

Good winds ~n~ Be safe!

Hope we have some good wind over the time you are here. For open ocean conditions Mike described some locations near the Breakers. A bit further north is Jupiter (actually Juno) and about 45 minutes north of the Ft. Pierce Inlet. The nearest flat water is in Biscayne Bay. There are some good sea taxi operations that will take you offshore to these spots south of Key Biscayne in Miami. More at the first two posts at:

HIGHFLYN, RICKI,
thank you for the great info. I feel like I have some good options. Now all we need is wind.

HIGHFLYN,
I could not find a Clark rd., but I did find a Clarke ave. just a couple of blocks south of the Breakers. It looks like a wide beach at the end of that road, is that it?

-thanks
